Demographically targeted domain names serve a number of purposes. Here’s a list of reason you should be using these types of domains:
- Laser like SEO benefits for the client
- Relevant search results for the consumer. Google love this.
- No shortage of names available.
- No worries of “lengthy domains” or obscure domains
- Instant recognizable to searchers
- It speaks to exactly what they are searching for at the moment of the search.
So what does a demographically targeted domain name look like?
- WacoOilChange.com
- OilChangeInWaco.com
- BloomingtonDentist.com
- DentistInBloomington.com
So few people take the time to actually use this tactic that there is an enormous amount of traffic to be had by implementing this now. In addition to this, be sure to place the targeted keyword in your title, h1 and other heading tags. Once you have a domain selected, the next step is to submit this new business website and business name to the search engines. Got to the local business listings section of the major search engines and drop it in. Then go to the maps section provided by the search engines and enter the business and domain in there as well. Within a week you should see excellent results. Also, remember to link the site to other sites you have promoting the company.
